Welcome to KeystoneColorado.com
the most comprehensive information source about Keystone, Colorado!
KeystoneColorado.com is the most comprehensive guide to Keystone Resort, the largest ski mountain in Summit County. Vacationers to Keystone will find the most insider and locals tips, restaurant and activity reviews, lodging deals, real estate information, coupons and listings for all of Keystone's events and festivals on KeystoneColorado.com.
Keystone Resort consists of three mountains named Dercum Mountain, North Peak, the Outback, and 5 Bowls (Independence, Ericsson, Bergman, North and South Bowls) for skiing at every level. The three mountains are connected by a series of 20 ski lifts and 2 gondolas so there are seldom lift lines in Keystone. The 5 Keystone bowls offer a back-country skiing experience with hike-to and snow-cat service. Collectively, the mountains form the largest operation in Colorado to offer night skiing, which takes place after sunset on as many as 15 of the resort's trails.
Keystone also boasts Colorado's best terrain park, A-51. Not only was A-51 ranked #1 in Colorado by the world's most heralded snowboarding magazine (Transworld SNOWBoarding), but it was also ranked #4 in the North America and remains open during night skiing hours!
Visitors to Keystone will also find other amazing activities such as a 5 acre zambonied skating lake (largest zambonied surface in North America), sleigh rides and many Zagat-rated 4- and 5-star restaurants. KeystoneColorado.com not only lists these restaurants, but also provides detailed reviews by a professional food critic.
In summer, Keystone is home to numerous activities including lift access for mountain biking, biking parks and hundreds of miles of single-track mountain biking. Keystone also has some of the best hiking and fly-fishing in Colorado.
Keystone's location at the base of Loveland Pass and just a few miles off I-70 makes it extremely convenient for anyone traveling from Denver. Keystone is also the closest place to stay for those who would like to ski Arapahoe Basin, where a summit altitude of 13,050' insures the best snow conditions in Colorado. Keystone and A-Basin are on the same lift ticket and there is a free shuttle from mountain to mountain so you can make a spur of the moment decision each morning as to where you'd like to ski or ride on any given day. Or better yet... ski both mountains in one day!
If you plan on staying overnight, Keystone has some of the most uniformly laid-back and well-maintained condos and townhomes of any ski area. There are over 3,000 vacation properties for rent in Keystone - all within a short walk or free shuttle ride to one the two base areas called River Run and Mountain House. Two villages of shops and restaurants are easily accessed from any of Keystone's vacation properties.
